Overview
We facilitate narrative medicine for fellows, faculty, and staff working in the UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building.
Narrative Medicine Circles
Narrative Medicine Circles seeks to foster in-person connection and well-being through narrative medicine for members of various child- and adolescent-focused departments and divisions.
Inter-Professional Exchange
Developmental-behavioral Pediatrician Roxanne Almas and Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Fellow Anoushka Sinha co-host a series of narrative medicine workshops at the Pritzker Building. We employ narrative medicine tools to create a safe and grounding space for participants, fostering inter-professional and cross-disciplinary connections.
By integrating narrative medicine into our professional routines, we intend to cultivate a more cohesive and supportive environment that can positively impact personal well-being and clinical practice.
Funding
This work has been generously supported by the UCSF Getting Together Doctors’ Day Fund, the UCSF Chancellor's Community Building Fund, and the Lisa and John Pritzker Family Foundation Endowment to Dr. Nicole Bush.
